Awesome Autumn Entries

Ring the bells. Let the leaves begin to fall. Autumn is officially here. What better way to herald in the season and welcome visitors into your home than to dress up your front entry with sensational fall decor?

Awesome entries that say “Welcome, come on in!”

Traditional favorites like pumpkins and bales of hay, layered with mums in rustic baskets, create a color theme of orange and tan with an emphasis on natural elements. The scarecrow adds a whimsical touch. (Photo: HGTV)

The Fall harvest inspires this front entry. Baskets of fresh apples, cornstalks, Indian corn, and gourds all add to the harvest theme while dark orange mums and red leaves add vibrant color. The front door wreath is a head of kale surrounded by faux apples, seedpods, and more leaves. (Photo: Better Homes and Gardens)

Bales of hay, faux leaves, and pumpkins in autumnal shades of gold to brown offset and nicely frame this simple door. The welcome mat is so perfect here. (Photo: Pottery Barn)

This harvest display includes cornstalks behind an old chair adorned with a vintage quilt and primitive items. Bright yellow mums sit in a vintage pot with pumpkins and gourds. A grapevine wreath holds more seasonal gourds.(Photo: Better Homes and Gardens)

A symmetrical look incorporates overflowing orange mums, white pumpkins, and candles in red glass on every step. Hanging baskets and Chinese lanterns frame the entryway. A simple corn husk wreath adorns the door.

The door on this arched entry is treated to a garland of faux leaves that matches the wreath. Seasonal metal décor works well with the straw, yellow mums, and red potted plant. (Photo: Celebrating Inspiration)

Simplicity. A feathery grass wreath, a bright orange pumpkin plopped atop a chair, a vintage watering can, and a pretty pot of white mums are just enough.

A DIY wooden monogram, orange and purple mums in colorful pots, gourds, pumpkins, and a couple other plants give this front door personality.

Giant pumpkins in footed urns make a statement here. A rustic broom waits patiently for someone to sweep the fallen leaves. Two woodland sprays on either side of the door match a wreath that has old family snapshots tucked neatly within.

Here’s a simple, easy-to-do idea: Drill holes in pumpkins and insert colorful branches into them. (Photo: Better Homes and Gardens)

Everything here is store-bought—olorful oak leaves, decorative rattan pumpkins, rustic orange pumpkin candles with markings and color of the real thing, even the feathered crows to add drama and life to the display. (Photo: Pottery Barn)
